I like never update! I'm sorry! I guess my life is just kinda boring. School is alright, and college apps are going alright, and I have a car now that I can drive myself to rock climbing with! Nevertheless, I've been kinda depressed for reasons that make me sound like a whiny bitch. However! I am not here to complain, so here are some WIPs:( pics below the cut )

I don't have anything to draw in class, but I always have way too much that I want to color! As soon as I turn in my application to Carleton, that should at least free up a little time!

Also I may or may not start scanlating again, depending on my schedule.

I've started my senior year! I'm taking five AP's! I'm fully prepared to die! I've also started volunteering at the Asian Art Museum and I've got college apps to do. WHOO.

I really don't update enough, so I end up making these mega-posts, but whatever.

The main thing on my mind now is that there are FOUR DAYS UNTIL I GO TO JAPAN! I've been counting down since 1117 (<--only partially a lie) so needless to say I am very excited.

Since I'm not doing anything at all this week, I decided to make a lightweight sundress to wear there, cause it's gonna be REALLY HUMID.

I'm getting better! =D I've seriously spent way too much time playing this game. Ah ha ha...now I can locate Moldova on a map, and I know what Sri Lanka's flag looks like!

Yeah. More of a life than a not-a-life and it's bothering me. I spent all of Saturday in Davis for a rock climbing competition. And my research paper's due tomorrow! My 6-page, final project for History and English class paper. Well. At least I'm a good person and have it all written.

BUT I'M SO GOD DAMMED TIRED. I took a practice AP test for English last Saturday which killed my sleeping schedule, and then I got up early on Saturday for the rock climbing comp and asfaklghaehh.

Oh yeah, finals and star testing start text week! Whooooo

Ummmmmm so finals are next week. Crap. I'm definitely going to fail all my finals, save physics and math (there's nothing wrong with me, I swear). Oh and I have to work three shifts this weekend. Great. Thanks for giving my time to study, Planet Granite! =D

Aside from that, things have been pretty cool. Just finished watching Le Chevalier D'Eon, which was totally amazing but SO FULL OF BAAWWWW. Also the historical accuracy (minus the magic) made me happy. It was all KEIKAKU DOORI and I was happy and able to predict who would live.

So there's this guy who goes to my rock climbing gym (Fridays starting at around 4:30) and GOD DAMN he's really cute. A couple weeks ago we worked on the same boulder problem together, and he clapped when I finished it! Then I saw him yesterday, and we waved, but I didn't get to talk him.

Since I have a DA account and already post lots of journals there, I didn't real have the urge to post anything here. But now that I'm a heavy user of LJ, I figured it was time to update my journal!

I have finals coming up next week, so for anyone who's friends with me because of my scanlation work, no promises or anything. But I dunno, since it's finals I won't be getting any homework other than the final projects that will be due. (Yes, we have final projects, not tests at my school. D=) We'll see!

As for art, I try to keep as few windows open in Photoshop as I can, so while I'm still working on type setting and whatever, I won't be able to color any art. I have a bunch of sketches ready to be scanned and cleaned and colored (Including some Nabari fan art) so look forward to that!

...I think the main purpose of the journal was just to use my new icon. =D

Hi to anyone who reads this! I'm totally new here and a little confused, but I'll try my best! I got an account because of all the communities here, so I hope to have a lovely lively time! =D Anyway, that's it for my introduction.

Now to other things! I've been trying to add onto my growing stash of Japanese manga before I leave for my trip to Europe, but so far it's been hard. I'm looking for the latest volume of Gfantasy and volume of Kuroshitsuji, but no luck yet...my local Japanese bookstore doesn't have them, but another one farther from my house might. The problem is getting there before Wednesday, when I leave....

But I'm still excited for my trip! I'll be going to Germany to site-see and visit relatives! =D Too bad the plane flight is going to be deadly long. But that's what video games are for! I bought a used version of FFIII DS to play on the flight. I hope it lasts!
